Member benefits include access to electronic versions of new editions of The Canadian Entomologist (TCE), electronic access to TCE from the 1860s to the present, reduced registration fees for the ESC's Joint Annual Meeting, reduced charges for the purchase of Memoirs, reduced charges for books from several publishers via the member section of the ESC website, access to ESC awards, and student competitions. In applying for, or renewing, membership under the categories of student, early professional or emeritus, you confirm that one of the conditions listed below applies to you.

All categories include TCE online access unless noted. From 2022 onward there will no longer be a print access option.

Student ($59.50)
Student without TCE access ($30)
Student members must be registered in a recognized educational institution.

Entomology Enthusiast ($59.50)
A person who is engaged in entomological pursuits as an amateur (e.g. collects and/or studies insects as a pastime), and who does not derive a significant amount of their income from entomological activity, such as entomologist instructors/researchers (university or college), government researchers and extension personnel or students enrolled in a graduate program in entomology.

Early Professional ($90.00)
Early professional membership applies to persons within 5 years of graduation (based on the calendar year) from their highest educational degree, if they feel their circumstances do not allow them to pay for a Regular membership.

Emeritus ($79.50)
Emeritus without TCE access (free)
Emeritus members have been regular members in good standing for at least 10 years and have retired from active employment.

Regular ($119.25)
